Caladenia fragrantissima orientalis x C. tentaculata (Orchidaceae)

This is an un-named hybrid between Cal fragrantissima orientis and one of the green comb spider orchids, of which we have identified 4 species at Wonthaggi. The most likely candidate is Cal tentaculata, the Mantis Orchid. The specimen lost the tips of its petals and sepals, probably when it began to open. Cal fragrantissima is described as endangered, but is well represented at Wonthaggi this year.
