Taken at Bald Hills Wetland Reserve, 11th December 2004
During our photography at Bald Hill Wetlands Reserve on Saturday, one of the members pointed out a small moving object which I photographed, the result being the exquisit pic attached. The wetland includes an extensive Swamp Paperbark stand where the plants we were photographing are to be found. Clearly the little creature is a form of case moth caterpillar that uses small flecks of paperbark to coat its home. I am delighted to have this beautiful picture. |
