Taken at Won Wron Forest, 17th December 2004
On our latest visit to the forest we found a large Lace Monitor which obligingly scaled up a Stringy-bark, pausing long enough for me to take the attached pics. This goanna is the only large species to be found in Victoria, extending from Nth Qld to Eastern Vic on the sea-side of the Divide. |
